what’s happening

Beginner’s Crochet Class with Tracy. She will teach you all the basics in this lesson. Thursday, May 13th from 2:00-4:00pm. Fee is $15 for the class plus your supplies (crochet hook and yarn). Call the shop, email, or stop in to sign up.

Join us Saturday, April 17th for Local Yarn Shop Day. This is an opportunity to thank you for your support. There will be several drawings, free patterns from some of our favorite yarn companies, and as always…treats. This is an all day event, so stop in anytime from 10:00am – 5:00pm.

Our first KAL of 2021 is one of the many patterns by Jennifer Steingass, also known as knit.love.wool. Jennifer is having a sale on all her patterns through April. Hop over to her Ravelry page and purchase a pattern or four.

Our KAL’s are on going this year so start when you want and finish when you do.

And as always….stop in anytime for help when you get stumped.

The Dream Sweater by Eweknitto

(October 1st ~ thru December)

This Sweater knits up faster than you’d think. The seed stitch pattern in every few rows gives you enough variety to keep things moving quickly.

Lexington Cowl by Michael Vloedman (free pattern)

(October 7th ~ thru December)

The linen stitch used in this pattern creates a clever woven texture. The drape of the Metalico with it’s silk and alpaca blend makes for a lovely and sophisticated garment. Make one/two/three for yourself or gift it to someone special.

Lake Melissa Sweater  ~
Blue Sky Fibers KAL by Sloame Gilliam Lacasse

(October 19th thru December)

This sweater has plenty of positive ease. You could wear this with jeans or a cute skirt for night out. Very versatile for any age or shape. Pattern is free with purchase of either Metalico or Alpaca Silk

There’s No Place Like Home By Emma Wright

(October 26th thru December)

Join us for our first throw KAL, There’s No Place Like Home, a gorgeous throw by designer Emma Wright. This KAL will be 8 weeks long beginning October 28th, with the last clue releasing on December 16th.
