Yarn Social

We have brought the Yarn Social back. Every Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Bring a project, stop in to shop, chat or ask a question. We have a huge sidewalk area out front and if you'd like to, bring your lawn chair and enjoy our delightful Iowa summer evenings. We will be here all season long.

Mahjong Night

Do you play mahjong and are you looking for others who play? Join us from 6-8pm on the 4th Thursday evening of the month (beginning in July). Bring your own tiles, mat, and 2026 NMJL card. We will provide the table and chairs. Free to play. Registration is required, space is limited to 8 players.

Who can play?

Anyone who knows the basics and can handle their own hand without help.

Will there be instructors?

No.

Book Club

We pick something cozy and meet to talk about it (and knit, mostly). New readers are always welcome — no homework required.

Can we bring our knitting, crochet, stitching, or other projects to Book Club?

Yes! We are a yarn shop after all. Please feel comfortable bringing a project to work on while we discuss our latest read.
