The Weekend Tote is a free pattern by Purl Soho. Knit with a worsted weight cotton yarn, on a size 5 needle gives this tote a nice and dense fabric. This is a nice beginner project. The only fiddly part is when you have finished the bottom rectangle and begin to knit in the round…it’s a bit tight until you get a couple of rows in. Otherwise, it’s easy and quick!
We used the Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton Worsted for ours. I knit the smaller version and used 2.5 skeins.
